GOOSE

This modern home in Midtown Fort Collins is an entertainer’s dream designed to take advantage of our (relatively) mild climate and desire to be outdoors. When the weather’s nice and the party’s starting, the living room glass garage door rolls up, allowing inside and outside to become one.

ABOUT THIS HOME

The custom fabricated furniture is designed to be mobile, so it can move to where the party is. When it’s time for a chilled beverage, the integrated ice chest in the custom concrete countertop in the kitchen holds ice and drinks. (A handy drain in the bottom empties the water when the party’s over.)

Inside are stained concrete floors with in-floor radiant heat, custom milled beetle-kill and reclaimed urban wood accents (some with a live edge to retain the wood’s character), exposed structural steel beams, and an open metal staircase. After sundown, the color-changing LED slat wall in the kitchen island becomes a showpiece and a fun accent when the party’s on.
