We built this home to maximize the golf course views from indoors and out. A covered deck, a rooftop deck over an indoor swimming pool, a bird box loft, and expansive windows throughout the home let the owners take in the views from almost every perspective.
Inside, the home boasts a unique mix of modern and traditional materials. A metal staircase and catwalk feature a slick glass-slat railing and reclaimed wood treads. The minimalist buffet in the dining room has a reclaimed wood top with inlaid metal trivets to make serving hot dishes easy. A soy-based stain provides a rich warmth of stone to the polished concrete floors, which are complete with radiant heating. Windows, glass, and exposed structural steel are prominent, yet the home feels comfortable and warm.
